Bathroom IP Rated Ceiling Lighting

IP65 rated lighting should be used: 1) Where lighting is required close to and over shower areas. 2) Where Maximum protection to steam and water ingress is required. For maximum protection it is further advised to fit an RCD (residual-current device) in the circuit.

IP44 can be used in bathrooms but not over shower areas.
