Flush Fittings & Semi Flush Fittings

The definition of flush in this case is a light fitting that fits directly onto the ceiling or wall and is not suspended from strings or chain and usually used where there are height restrictions particularly so in older properties. The difference between the flush and the semi-flush fitting being that the flush light fitting has a low profile making them ideal for older properties or applications where the ceiling is low, the semi flush being a light fitting that is not particularly high again making them ideally suited to low ceilings, often these fittings are pendants where the suspending chain has been removed.
